I’m not sure if I ever mentioned this before but I used to play drums in a rock band.
Now whilst I had a great time playing gigs the one thing that was a constant pain was horsing the drum kit all around the place and then putting together the many pieces of the drum kit together.
And if we were playing with another band, then I would have to put the kit together, do a sound check and then take some of it apart again so the other drummer could use his set up and then put it back together before we started playing!
Much more hassle than playing guitar!
To facilitate all this I had to have a pretty comprehensive way of storing all the bits and bobs so I could find them when I needed them and of course so I wouldn’t lose any of it either.
And I had to be bit inventive with storing my equipment.
It’s a similar thing for terraced houses.
Now if there is one thing that terraced houses lack, and that’s a provision for storage.
